How It Works

NOP partners with student’s home-school and counselor for academic planning
Part-time students alternate between NOP one day and then their home school the next day
Class-size is 15 students maximum with daily homeroom teacher/mentor
Core classes offered to meet graduation requirements
New students are accepted each semester
At the end of each semester, families make a decision to stay at Aspen Valley part-time, move to full-time, or return to home school
Students typically stay in program for 2-3 semesters
Parent – Student – Teacher Conferences is a program requirement

Next Steps

A high school counselor submits a referral for the student. Once a referral is received, the family is contacted to set up a consultation meeting.
