Course Selection
- Class registration is accomplished through Academic Plan in Infinite Campus.
- If you need to register for classes outside the registration window or have questions after reviewing the documents, please contact your counselor.
- Refer to the Course Guide for detailed course descriptions.
Application-Based Courses
Several courses offered at DCCHS and district-wide require an application. If interested, please apply using the links below:
- AFJROTC
- Career and Technical Education (CTE) Courses (apply by April 1 for Fall programs; Nov. 1 for Spring programs)
Course Selection Guidelines
- Discuss as a Family: Make sure you and your student agree on class choices.
- Discuss with Teachers: Students are encouraged to consult current teachers regarding course placement.
- Select Carefully: Choose all classes thoughtfully, keeping balance in mind.
- Every class equals 30 minutes to 1 hour of homework per night.
- Every Honors/AP course requires 1.5 to 2 hours of homework per night.
- Schedule Changes: Contact your counselor for any schedule adjustments.
